By the end of 2019, the world suddenly but slowly came to a grinding halt. The virus SARS-CoV-2 causing the disease COVID-19 started to colour the clinical picture. Suddenly our open and social way of life was not okay anymore - it was dangerous to others. People had to adapt, makeshift laws were forced upon them, nobody had answers. Grim protests and riots shadowed the aftermath of a society chaotically trying to fit into the new way of life. Peak economy with red-hot gyring gears suddenly got slammed into reverse - supply chains broke like ice in boiling water. We got punished for our greed, voracity and egoism, and we were taught to be human again. We came to stop, to think: is all this rat-racing really necessary? The world slowly paced forward.
Two years later, the new way of life is still a bit ill at ease, but it has become a part of our reflexes. We are never the same again.

This album is utterly brilliant and is my new go-to as far as electronic music as a whole. I despair that I will find nothing else that will evoke the same emotions. It is hypnotic, intriguing and vivifying all at once. I have no idea how that was pulled off!
